(These are questions regarding the in-character story surrounding Vidalia's timeline)Q - What’s with this timeline stuff?A - The world of Dragon Ball not only has many planets, star systems, and Universes, it also has timelines! See for example Future Trunk’s timeline and basically the whole of Xenoverse. The timeline Vidalia and Company inhabit is but one of many in the vast scope of things. Currently, though, this Timeline seems hard to reach by outside forces (I wonder why?), and even the Time Patrol seems unaware of its specifics. Every question answered after this is assumed to be referring to the Timeline Vidalia lives in (which we'll call Vidaliaverse for the sake of clarity).Q- What do you mean Planet Vegeta is back and is called New Vegeta?A - Some years ago, Kakarot and Vegeta were on a special type of training mission with Whis, and during this training they had several encounters with friends new and old, and experiences that led them to reflect on the past and their identities as Saiyans. They jointly decided to question Whis if there was a possibility to bring back Planet Vegeta and the Saiyans who'd perished, in order to give them a second chance, much as Vegeta had gotten. Whis got some “help”, since this went beyond the power of the normal Dragon Balls, and had Kakarot and Vegeta collect Universal Ki to perform a ritual that would accomplish the task. Once the ritual was complete, Vegeta did not assume his spot as King, but is still considered the Prince since his father exiled himself out of shame of what happened to his planet and people at the hands of Frieza. Vegeta formed a new society and strived to do away with the “Elite” Class system and the focus on power levels dictating someone’s worth.Q - Why do Vidalia and Fennel keep calling themselves Cadets?A - Over the years, Vegeta has guided the Saiyans to abandon the concept of being conquerors that has haunted their race. It took some time and a show of force (and an attempted rebellion), but Vegeta and “Queen” Bulma created a Corp to rival the Galactic Patrol which uses Saiyan might for the beneficence of the galaxy. More powerful and experienced Saiyans aid in the training of others. Vidalia and Fennel are part of the first graduating class in this Corp. Saiyans operating within the Corp have mostly free jurisdiction because they are monitored by the Galactic Patrol, to “watch over them” so Prince Vegeta doesn’t have to.Q - What do Saiyans do now if they don’t work for Frieza?A - Well, New Vegeta has direct ties to Earth and a lot of other allied planets, so many Saiyans have taken on a lot of jobs around the galaxy. There are plenty still that live on New Vegeta and are trying to figure out what being a Saiyan means for them now. Some just know that New Vegeta is one of the best places for a good fight and to have some MacDogs after! There are of course others who have left the planet entirely to forge their own way, with or without Prince Vegeta's influence to use their power for the betterment of others.Q - What sorts of missions do Vidalia and Fennel go on?A - All sorts! They are fully trained to handle a lot of different situations, so it could be to maybe do recon on a potential threat, deal with said potential threat, broker peace with a newly discovered planet, etc!Q - How strong are Vidalia and Fennel?A - Despite the focus on power levels and strength in the Manga/Anime/Games, we more want to focus and pay respect to the idea of the journey characters go on in the DragonBall world. For that reason, Vidalia and Fennel aren’t exactly weak, but they aren’t very strong compared to some canon characters. We loosely have been pinning them as “Namek Saga” strength, which is a HUGE margin.Q - Will Vidalia ever go Super Saiyan?A - Because you keep asking, no not any time soon ;-)! See the comment above, but we feel that hitting super saiyan should be a huge moment in a character’s story and narrative and should happen for the right reason! Would it have been nearly as cool if Kakarot just “poofed” into Super Saiyan just because he got a little angry rather than watching his best friend be murdered by a strong rival? And because you asked, it’s being pushed back again. Whomp whomp.

(These are questions regarding the handling of the lore and out-of-character info.)Q - What is considered canon?A - Typically anything mentioned by Vidalia or Fennel on stream, but mostly in the character skit videos that Vidalia uploads. There are plenty of jokes and fun little things that happen on stream that aren’t exactly canon, but are mostly there for entertainment. This mostly involves interactions with chat.Q - Can my character be in/from/interactive with your timeline?A - Officially, no, unless we say otherwise. We are working on a narrative that will span quite a bit of time and videos, and trying to keep track of other characters that are outside of our control would be a headache and a half. We appreciate the enthusiasm for the lore and people wanting to be a part of it, but for us to do what we have planned, it’s closed out officially. We can’t stop you from saying it in RP or otherwise, but it should be made clear that you are not part of official Vidaliaverse canon.Q - Can I write fanfic and do fanart?A - OF COURSE! We love seeing how creative everyone is and how much they love what Vidalia is creating! Just know that any fanfic or pictures created are not considered canon unless Vidalia or Fennel specifically say so.Q - Can I be in a video or on stream?A - No, unless you get invited to do so. We request that you don’t ask us or poke at us for this. We are working hard creating new stuff for the channel, and getting asked and trying to explain this to everyone can take up a lot of that time and we don’t want to disappoint everyone.Q - Can my channel be connected to your stream?A - Only if we give express permission, and again, that isn’t likely since again, we are working on a narrative.Q - Why do you keep talking about narrative?A - Well, Vidalia’s objective is to ultimately tell a loose story over time! All these silly videos and streams are leading to lore and story that have yet to be revealed! Because of that, we have to keep things tightly knit on canon.Q - Can I voice -insert character-?A -By default, no. If we decide to bring a character in, we know enough people we can go to to handle the voices. If we feel there is a character that we don’t have someone who can do the voice for, we will hold an open audition, but the likelihood of that is slim at the current state.Q - Where did you get your models?A - Homegrown! And by that we mean that they were personally drawn by Vidalia using a pixel art program called Aseprite and the models are "rigged" using the software Veadotube Mini.Q - Can I have one?A - Yes! She will be taking paid commissions soon through the Ko-Fi website. It takes a lot of time and effort to make them which means they will priced accordingly.
